Growth company! http://www.vice.com/en_ca/
CBC radio 1 presented an interview with the founder who was on welfare, fresh from rehab for heroin addiction, a college drop out who wanted to work for a magazine. Got started working with some Haitians in Montreal. He broke away to start Vice Magazine with 2 friends; each investing $5,000 as start-up money. Was a small dirty joke magazine until they went to Iraq to interview the only Heavy Metal band in that country which was in the middle of war with America(2007). They were in awe with what they witnessed of the war and became fascinated with 'real journalism'. They took Dennis Rodman to North Korea on his first visit to that dysfunctional country and the rest is history.
